XPeng To Present First Flagship MPV Model XPENG X9 At Auto Guangzhou This Week, Shares Up

XPeng Inc. XPEV said it will present its first flagship MPV model at Auto Guangzhou 2023 on Friday, November 17.

The EV maker touts that the MPV model XPENG X9 is built under the next-generation Smart EV architecture SEPA2.0.

On October 24, 2023, XPeng hosted its 2023 Tech Day, where the company debuted XPENG X9.

While announcing its delivery results for October 2023, the company said that the XPENG X9 is a starship-inspired, large 7-seater MPV with a highly futuristic, innovative, tech-savvy exterior design.

According to a news report by CarNewsChina.com, the model is established on an 800V high-voltage SiC architecture, and it will be the foremost car to come fitted with XPeng's XOS Tianji cabin software. 

Many details about the car were already revealed by the Chinese regulator under MIIT, as XPeng had applied for an X9 sales license in China, the report added.

In October, XPEV disclosed a new record of monthly deliveries of 20,002 smart EVs, up 292% Y/Y and +31% over the prior month, representing strong growth momentum for the ninth consecutive month.

XPEV will release its Q3 FY23 earnings results on November 15, 2023.
