Do you feel or have you ever felt burnout at work?  If yes, do not fret, as you are not alone. According to Gallup’s 2022 report Employee Burnout: Causes and Cures, 76% of employees experience burnout on the job at least sometimes, and 28% say they are burned out very often or always at work. .

Inc. expert opinion writer Peter Economy stated, "Our culture is consumed with being busy. Whether we like to admit it or not, many of us are in love with the idea of burning ourselves out."

JotForm Founder and CEO Aytekin Tank wrote in Entrepreneur, "In the early days of my 12-year entrepreneurial journey, I thought success required 16-hour workdays. I was constantly building, growing and hustling. Over the years, I’ve learned that being busy and successful are not the same thing. Many of us spend the whole day sprinting, to the point where we’re stressed and exhausted."

Tank believes emotional distress resulting from over-busyness manifests as difficulty focusing and concentrating, impatience and irritability, trouble getting adequate sleep and mental and physical fatigue.”

You can reduce the feelings of burnout caused by busyness by incorporating more rest and relaxation (R&R) into your daily life. The Mayo Clinic reported that relaxation isn’t only about peace of mind or enjoying a hobby. It’s a process that decreases stress effects on your mind and body. Relaxation techniques can help you cope with everyday stress and can help with long-term stress or stress related to various health problems, such as heart disease and pain.

Katy Walters of Hummingbird Holistic Therapies defines relaxation as a conscious activity that calms both the mind and body and stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which slows the heart rate, deepens breathing and improves digestion.

Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic and Sunny Lee of Fast Company reported that research has shown that rest is vital to mental and physical health, given its great benefits to the immune system, stress management, mood, decision-making, creativity and work productivity. Rest tends to occur while we sleep and allows the body to repair itself on a cellular level through autonomic activity. It generally makes us feel refreshed and restored. Understanding the body's needs is important because it intuitively reveals what it needs daily to keep itself well.

Platinum915, in collaboration with Best Damn Gummys, is proud to have created Rasta Rocks (RR), a safe, effective and delicious cherry-flavored, hemp-derived gummy with 75 milligrams (mg) of cannabidiol (CBD) and 7.5 mg of Delta9 THC to assist you with your R&R.

The two main cannabinoids found in Rasta Rocks are CBD and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). CBD is known for the medical relief it provides for a plethora of conditions, does not have intoxicating side effects, and has anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic and anti-convulsant properties, according to Brightfield and HelloMD

"There is a vast range of conditions that CBD consumers reported using cannabis for of which the top four reported were anxiety, insomnia, joint pain/inflammation and depression," Brightfield and HelloMD wrote.

THC is an effective analgesic and is better known for its psychoactive effects, which can give users a sense of euphoria or high and is mostly used to help with nausea, pain, and spasticity.

Matan Weil of the Cannigma wrote, "Both CBD and THC are chemically similar but act extremely differently in the body. These two major cannabinoids are both considered psychoactive as they can affect your mind and mood. Still, unlike CBD, THC can also alter your consciousness, making it not only psychoactive but also intoxicating."

In the United States, CBD products generated revenue of roughly $5.3 billion in 2021, and CBD sales are predicted to reach nearly $16 billion in the United States by 2026, according to Statista.

Regarding rest, spiritual author and Registered Life Planner Eleanor Brownn wrote, "Rest and self-care are so important. When you take time to replenish your spirit, it allows you to serve others from the overflow. You cannot serve from an empty vessel."

Replenish your spirit with Joy, Rest, Relaxation and Platinum915's delicious hemp-derived RASTA ROCKS

Platinum915 is a powerful reminder that when we stay true to ourselves, use our creativity and trust our intuition, anything is possible. Thanks for reading, have an amazing day, and as always, shine your divine light bright!
