CME Group, Archer-Daniels-Midland And An Athletic Apparel Company On CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC’s "Halftime Report Final Trades," Rob Sechan of NewEdge Capital Group picked  Lululemon Athletica Inc. LULU, which is scheduled to release earnings this week on March 21.

Analysts expect the brand to report quarterly earnings at $5.00 per share, up from $4.40 per share in the year-ago quarter. The company is projected to post revenue of $3.19 billion, up from $2.77 billion in the year-earlier period.

Brenda Vingiello of Sand Hill Global Advisors named CME Group Inc. CME as her final trade.

CME Group is projected to announce earnings for the first quarter before the opening bell on, April 24, 2024. Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings at $2.45 per share, up from $2.42 per share in the year-earlier quarter. The company is likely to post revenue of $1.47 billion, up from $1.39 billion a year ago.

Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital Partners picked Archer-Daniels-Midland Company ADM.

On March 12, Archer-Daniels-Midland said fourth-quarter revenues declined 11.4% year-on-year to $22.98 billion, missing the analyst consensus estimate of $23.64 billion. Adjusted EPS of $1.36 missed the analyst consensus of $1.43. ADM also provided an update regarding certain accounting practices. The investigation was initially disclosed in January 2024.
