Australian firm Wesfarmers
WFAFY reported a 6% gain in its full-year profit.
The company also announced a special dividend of 50 Australian cents per share (US$0.46).
Wesfarmers reported its net profit for the year of A$2.26 billion, up from A$2.13 billion, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a profit of A$2.24 billion.
Wesfarmers shares closed at $19.18 yesterday.
