The death of Kabosu has cast a shadow over the usually vibrant cryptocurrency industry, with many prominent figures expressing their condolences. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin also mourned the loss, writing “Rest in peace Kabochan.”

The Dogecoin Foundation paid tribute, saying “Rest in peace, dear Kabosu, beloved Doge. You were very much wow.”

Throughout its life, Kabosu made many friends, including celebrities and renowned investors. Musk, in particular, often mentioned Kabosu, who acted as a mascot for Dogecoin.
