Black Friday's online-only baby brother is just around the corner. Are you ready?
Cyber Monday officially kicks off at 12:01 a.m. Monday, December 2. While most Americans will use that time to sleep off their turkey coma (an inevitable side-effect of overeating all weekend), some will stay up until the wee hours of the morning, searching for deals.
What will these brave individuals get for their effort?
Unlike Black Friday, retailers are fairly skilled at keeping their hottest Cyber Monday deals a secret. This could be because there is not a physical paper that could be scanned and posted online. It may also be because retailers know that if consumers can find a better deal on Monday they won't shop this weekend.
The exception to the rule might be
StaplesSPLS, which is having a two-day Cyber Monday sale that begins today (Sunday, December 1). Some of the retailer's best deals include the following items:
- Dell DELL 15" Touch Screen Laptop for $379.99 (save $120) - Plus Free $25 Windows Store Gift Card (with purchase of any Windows Touch PC or Tablet)
- Gateway 20" All-in-One Desktop PC for $299.99 (save $130)
- Google GOOG Nexus 7 16GB for $199 (save $30)
Like most firms,
Wal-MartWMT has been focused on Black Friday. But the retailer has
that it will offer the basic, 16GB iPod Touch for $199, as well as a Double Power 7" Tablet for $59. This generic-sounding tablet seems to be a Wal-Mart exclusive.

The retailer will also sell a 46-inch
SamsungSSNLF LED TV for $478.
According to
I Heart The Mart, Wal-Mart will offer a 55-inch LED TV (with a sound bar) from LG as well. The bundle will be sold for $799, which is reportedly a $500 savings.
I Heart The Mart also has a listing for a
Hewlett-PackardHPQ notebook for $133 off the retail price. The HP Sleekbook Ruby Red 14-inch Pavilion Laptop PC will sell for $295.
Gamers may be intrigued by Wal-Mart's $517 PlayStation 4 bundle (which includes the console, one game and an extra Dual-Shock 4 controller), but it only provides a $3 savings.
According to
CyberMonday2013.com,
TargetTGT will sell the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Unlocked for $239.99 (an $80 savings), the Pentax Q10 Camera for $249 (a $150 savings) and the Polaroid Action Cam for $89.99 (a $40 savings).
Best BuyBBY promises that there will be
several deals and doorbusters, but consumers will have to wait until Cyber Monday begins to find out for sure.
