Nintendo ADR‘s NTDOY Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) has once again demonstrated the franchise's enduring appeal, with its latest mobile entry, Pokémon TCG Pocket, raking in over $12 million in just four days since launch.

According to estimates from Appmagic, published by MobileGamer.biz, the app generated approximately $3 million per day during its debut weekend alone.

Japan Leads In Revenue; U.S. Takes Top Spot For Downloads

A breakdown of the game's performance reveals Japan as the top revenue-generating region, contributing 45% of all in-game spending. The U.S. follows, accounting for 25% of the game's revenue. Hong Kong and Taiwan are tied in third place, each contributing 4%.

While Japan drives the highest revenue, the U.S. leads in terms of downloads, representing 29% of total installs. Brazil follows with 11%, while Mexico claims 6%. Surprisingly, Japan accounts for only 4% of total downloads, matched by the U.K., France, and Germany.

iOS Dominates Revenue Figures

When looking at platform-specific performance, iOS users have significantly outspent their Android counterparts, generating an estimated $10.5 million of the $12.1 million total revenue. This heavy engagement from iOS users reflects a trend in the mobile gaming market, where Apple's platform frequently generates more revenue per user.

10 Million Downloads In Days, And Counting

The game's popularity continues to soar. Pokémon TCG Pocket's official account on X announced it surpassed 10 million downloads within the first four days of its launch, with Appmagic estimating this rose to 12 million the following day.

Pokémon TCG Pocket's strong performance shows the franchise's versatility across multiple media formats. Initially launched as a tabletop game in the late 1990s, the Pokémon Trading Card Game has evolved with digital iterations, and this latest mobile version appears to have resonated with fans worldwide.
