MIND C.T.I. MNDO announced on Friday that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Aurenz GmbH, a provider of Unified Communications (UC) analytics and call accounting solutions in Germany.
The acquisition, valued at approximately $1.88 million in cash, strengthens MIND’s position in the unified communications analytics market, which provides critical data-driven insights to help organizations optimize their communication strategies.
Founded in 1983, Aurenz is a key player in call accounting and UC analytics.
The company will integrate into UC implementations, offering real-time feedback and insights that help businesses improve response times, resolve issues quickly, and enhance customer service interactions.
As part of the acquisition, Jürgen Dagutat, Managing Director of Aurenz, will continue to lead the company, ensuring continuity and strengthening existing partnerships.
The acquisition is expected to be accretive to MIND’s earnings per share in fiscal 2025 and beyond, with the results of Aurenz to be consolidated starting in the first quarter of 2025.
Ariel Glassner, CEO of MIND, expressed confidence that the acquisition would bolster MIND’s position as a provider of UC analytics, especially in the European market.
Glassner highlighted the complementary strengths of both companies and emphasized that the acquisition aligns with MIND’s strategy of leveraging its cash position and experienced team to respond to market needs while maintaining its dividend policy.
The acquisition is set to be completed shortly, subject to customary closing requirements.
Price Action: MNDO shares are trading flat at $2.02 at last check Friday.
