Share:

FOOTHILL RANCH, CA--(Marketwire - August 17, 2009) - Continuing its mission to educate end
users on increasing productivity across the enterprise, Applied Voice & Speech Technologies, Inc.
(AVST) has teamed with three of its technology partners to launch a series
of educational webinars. The webinar series, titled "Extend the Power of
the CallXpress® Platform," will include presentations from Open Text
Corporation, Unimax Systems Corporation and Vault Solutions LLC.

Organizations are looking to consolidate voice, fax, and data resources to
cut costs and simplify their communications infrastructure. VoIP and FoIP
have become critical to enterprises as they create a unified strategy for
voice and data communications, allowing companies to reduce their total
cost of ownership by eliminating telephony hardware and consolidating the
management of voice, data, and fax communications. The first webinar,
titled "Top Reasons to Implement a Fax over IP (FoIP) Solution" will be
presented by Open Text Corporation this Tuesday, August 18 at 8:30 a.m.
Pacific Time. While most customers are already familiar with the tight
integration between CallXpress and RightFax®, the leading fax server
product on the market today, this webinar will specifically address the
benefits of implementing a FoIP solution.

A growing requirement for users in the enterprise communications
marketplace is enterprise-wide single point of administration to help large
scale organizations centralize and consolidate administration functions.
The next webinar will demonstrate how to administer multi-vendor PBX's
along with CallXpress and other business systems. Presented by Unimax
Systems Corporation, the "Unify and Simplify the Administration of Your
Telephony and Business Systems" webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, August
19 at 11 a.m. Pacific Time.

E-mail archiving has been available for years now, and more and more
companies, large and small, are implementing solutions to be prepared for
the inevitable discovery requests. Now voicemail messages have started to
become an essential component of these discovery requests. In the last
webinar of the series, "Don't Put your Corporate Data at Risk! Archive,
Retain and Discover Your CallXpress Voicemail Messages," AVST and Vault
Solutions present how to archive, retain, and discover voicemail messages
by leveraging Vault Solutions' Archive Accelerator to store CallXpress
voicemail messages. This webinar will take place on Wednesday, September 9
at 11 a.m. Pacific Time.

Each webinar consists of a 30 to 45 minute presentation followed by a
15-minute Q&A session. To register to attend one of these free educational
webinars, please visit http://www.avst.com/r/cxug.asp.
