Nokia Corporation NOK disclosed a partnership with Proximus Global to advance network API solutions.

This collaboration will integrate their APIs across marketplaces, enabling developers to create innovative enterprise applications and strengthening the link between telecom and various industry segments.

Proximus Global’s network APIs will be integrated into Nokia’s Network as Code platform, while Nokia will leverage Proximus Global’s telco presence to expand the reach of its CAMARA and 5G APIs.

This collaboration will enable enterprises and operators to harness advanced API capabilities for network slicing, fraud protection, and other services.

Additionally, Proximus Global plans to utilize Nokia’s Network Exposure Platform and Enterprise API Hub, streamlining developer access to its 4G and 5G network capabilities through a standardized GSMA Operator Platform.

Christophe Van De Weyer, Chief Product Officer at Proximus Global, and CEO of Telesign, said, “Proximus Global has traditionally offered a rich set of communication API through our CPaaS offering. We aim now to complement these with network API to allow enterprise and developers to easily access network capabilities.”

“Our collaboration with Nokia will strengthen our API capabilities, and the work we are doing with developers, all with the aim of providing Proximus Global enterprise and wholesale customers with new, value-added solutions.”

Last month, Nokia partnered with Globe Telecom, Inc. to offer enhanced security for banks and other enterprises using network Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Investors can gain exposure to NOK stock via iShares U.S. Digital Infrastructure and Real Estate ETF IDGT and First Trust Indxx NextG ETF NXTG.

Price Action: NOK shares are up 0.10% at $5.015 at the last check Tuesday.
