U.S. stocks were lower, with the Nasdaq Composite falling around 650 points on Monday.
Shares of Redfin Corporation RDFN rose sharply during Monday's session after Rocket Companies announced it will acquire the company in an all-stock transaction valued at $12.50 per share.
Under the terms of the agreement, Redfin shareholders will receive 0.7926 shares of Rocket Class A common stock for each Redfin share—a 63% premium over Redfin’s 30-day volume-weighted average price. Rocket shareholders will own approximately 95% of the combined company upon completion, with Redfin shareholders holding the remaining 5%.
Redfin shares jumped 70% to $9.89 on Monday.

- Trevi Therapeutics, Inc. TRVI surged 41.8% to $6.10 after the company reported topline results from its Phase 2a RIVER trial of Haduvio for RCC, which met the primary endpoint.
- Protagonist Therapeutics, Inc. PTGX rose 41% to $54.08 after the company announced topline results from its Phase 2b ANTHEM-UC study of icotrokinra in ulcerative colitis. The study met its primary endpoint in all dose groups evaluated.
- LZ Technology Holdings Limited LZMH gained 17.7% to $14.18.
- Veren Inc. VRN gained 15.6% to $5.68 after the company announced a $15 billion strategic merger with Whitecap to form a leading oil producer.
- WK Kellogg Co KLG rose 9.3% to $21.91.
- Dave & Buster’s Entertainment, Inc. PLAY gained 8.9% to $21.02.
- e.l.f. Beauty, Inc. ELF rose 8.4% to $76.61.
- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. KTOS gained 8.2% to $29.53. Kratos said its OpenEdge 2500 achieved DIFI compliance.
- STAAR Surgical Company STAA rose 7.2% to $19.66.
- Harley-Davidson, Inc. HOG gained 6.9% to $27.90.
- Archer-Daniels-Midland Company ADM climbed 5.5% to $52.16.
- Insperity, Inc. NSP shares rose 5.4% to $95.24.
- Tractor Supply Company TSCO gained 4.6% to $59.54.
- The Campbell’s Company CPB rose 4.4% to $43.65.
