Nasdaq (NDAQ), Brazilian Exchange Partnership to be Discussed

Nasdaq OMX Group Inc. (NASDAQ: NDAQ) , which runs the Nasdaq stock exchange, and Brazilian stock and commodities exchange operator BM&FBOVESPA SA said Wednesday that they will begin exclusive discussions over the next 60 days aimed at setting up a strategic, commercial and technological partnership. The companies said a potential venture could include developing an order routing system that lets international investors connected to the Nasdaq trading platform buy and sell orders for stocks traded on the Brazilian exchange, and vice versa.
