SAC's Cohen's Ex-Wife Accuses Him of Insider Trading
Steve Cohen, founder of hedge fund SAC Capital Advisors, has been accused, by his ex-wife, of insider trading.
Cohen was questioned by the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday, after his former wife, who is suuing him for millions of dollars that she claims he has hidden from her, accused him of insider trading in the 1986 sale of RCA shares to General Electric for $6.3 billion.
Cohen's spokesman described the accusations as "ridiculous." Cohen was not charged by the SEC.
One of SAC's largest holdings is drug maker WYETH (NYSE: WYE).
