Facebook MAU's Are Growing Like Clockwork

Facebook Inc (NASDAQ: FB) blew their second quarter earnings results out of the water Wednesday afternoon, thanks in part to their monthly active user (MAU) growth. 

As of June 30, Facebook's MAUs were 1.71 billion. That's a 15% increase year-over-year. Of that total, 1.57 billion (or about 92%) came from mobile. Mobile MAUs saw a 20% increase year-over-year.

Note: The chart does not include first quarter MAUs for 2016. Total MAU's were 1.65 billion as of March 31, 2016, up 15% year-over-year, and mobile MAUs were 1.51 billion, a 21% year-over-year increase.
