IGN
is reporting that Netflix (NASDAQ:
NFLX) will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS this summer.
The service will allow users to watch movies and TV shows on the go by using the system's built-in Wi-Fi connection. Users will also have the option to pause their videos and continue watching them through their television using a Nintendo Wii.
Pricing has not yet been announced for the 3DS version of the service. However, it is possible that it will be included with the standard Netflix packages.
Since the Nintendo 3DS relies on Wi-Fi to get its users online, Nintendo has also partnered with AT&T (NYSE:
T) to bring free Internet access via 10,000+ Wi-Fi hot spots nationwide.
