Snap Inc (NYSE:SNAP) shares are trading lower by 73 cents (3.6 percent) at $17.15 in Thursday's session. There is no specific news out on the stock to account for the decline.
After a lower open, Snap couldn't reclaim Wednesday's close ($17.88), only reaching $17.75 before continuing its move lower. Once it surpassed its former all-time low of $17.56, the pace of the decline accelerated.
So far, it has reached $17.00 and is attempting to distance itself from that depressed level.
