Pizza Patrón Opens Unique New Store in Dallas

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - August 10, 2009) - Pizza Patrón, the premier Latin pizza brand, announced the opening of its 26th Dallas/Fort Worth area location on July 29, 2009. The restaurant is located at 8928 E. RL Thorton Freeway Dallas, Texas 75219, off St. Francis and I-30, in front of a Wal-Mart.

The site is the first Pizza Patrón to be positioned along a major traffic artery with excellent highway visibility, giving the brand thousands of extra daily impressions. The company was also able to incorporate its trademark parapet façade, a standard component of its free-standing QSPT (Quick Service Pizza) locations, into the shopping center structure, making the store stand out even more.

The 1134-square-foot carry-out restaurant features Pizza Patrón's hallmark Latin design motif, which includes a vivid color palette and music that resonates with energetic and festive cultural influence.

The store is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Call-in orders can be placed by dialing (214) 327-9191.

"We are excited about this new and very unique location," said Andrew Gamm, brand director for Pizza Patrón. "The high visibility and high daily traffic densities will benefit all of our stores in Dallas and help to broaden our appeal in this market."

The new store will feature everyday values like the 12-inch medium AMIGO PIZZAST which range from $4 for a one-topping pizza, $5 for two or three toppings and specialty pizzas for only $6 each.

The lease for the building was negotiated by Marsha Schneider of RTS Real Estate Services. For more information, call (972) 698-7900.

Since 1986, Pizza Patrón has been celebrating the diversity of the Latin culture and lifestyle in its stores. The company is continuing its expansion in the Dallas area and other markets, and, today, operates 91 stores in six states, with plans to have 750 stores nationwide within a decade. Approximately 93 percent of Pizza Patrón restaurants in the U.S. are owned and operated by franchisees.

About Pizza Patrón -- Pizza Patrón was founded by Antonio Swad in 1986. Since franchising began in March 2003, the brand has grown from four locations in Dallas to 91 locations in six states, with more than 40 additional stores under development. Pizza Patrón features festive, Latin-influenced pizza stores that are community-based in Spanish-speaking or predominately Hispanic neighborhoods. The menu includes Patrón DipsT, Fiesta WingsT, BreadStixT, QuesoStixT, Churros and the company's trademark LISTA-NOW READYT pizza program. The chain features a variety of different store models including CARRY-OUT, DINE-IN, RAPIDITOT (airports/malls), TIENDITAT (portable mini-store extension) and its QSPT (Quick Service Pizza) free-standing drive-thru concept. All pizza dough is made fresh throughout the day; no preservatives are added or needed. The sauce is prepared fresh in the stores from crushed Roma tomatoes and marinated with a secret blend of herbs and spices. Only 100 percent mozzarella cheese is used on all pizzas. X-Large pizzas are offered at prices as low as $6 for cheese and one topping and $4 for the same medium AMIGO PIZZAT. An X-Large 'La Patrona' deluxe pizza with everything is priced as low as $8.
