Sola Adds Further Geological Expertise to Board of Directors

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Aug. 13, 2009) - Dr. William Pfaffenberger, CEO of Sola Resource Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SL) (PINK SHEETS:SORSF) ("the Company"), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jody Dahrouge of Edmonton, Alberta to the Board of Directors of the company. Mr. Dahrouge is a professional geologist with over 20 years of exploration experience both in Canada and internationally. He has managed a plethora of mineral projects, ranging from "grass roots" exploration to the level of mine development and production. Mr. Dahrouge has, since 1998, owned and operated Dahrouge Geological Consulting Ltd., a successful private Edmonton-based firm. Dahrouge Geological designs and manages mineral exploration and development programs for both junior and senior mineral resource companies. He is a graduate of the University of Alberta's Geology program (B.Sc. 1988) and Computing Science program (Sp.C 1993). Mr. Dahrouge is a registered Professional Geologist in Alberta and British Columbia. He is, in addition, currently a director of Commerce Resources Corp. and Fission Energy Corp. We seek safe harbor.
