• Medtronics MDT reported fourth quarter earnings of 89 cents a share, one cent better than Zacks expectations, on inline revenues of $4.2 billion

• Autozone AZO topped estimates with first quarter earnings of $4.12, well above Zacks projections of $2.35, on better-than-expected revenues of $1.82 billion, higher than Zacks estimates of $1.50 billion

• Cracker Barrel CBRL bested projections with first quarter earnings of 61 cents, beating Zacks estimates of 58 cents, on revenues of $578.2 million, ahead of Zacks expectations of $577 million

• Flowers Foods FLO beat analyst estimates with first quarter earnings of 44 cents, up from Zacks estimates of 42 cents.  Revenues of $795 million fell short of Zacks projections of $815 million

• Deutsche Bank DB upgraded Barrick Gold ABX to "buy" from "hold," taking their 2011 gold target price to $1450, and 2012' to $1600

• Dell DELL introduces its "Streak" this morning, a "mini-iPad" for the tablet market, with a 5-inch screen
