• ExxonMobil XOM reported Q4 EPS of $1.85, ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.68 per share. Revenues for the quarter rose to $105.2 billion, lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $113.268 billion

• Alpha Natural Resources ANR announced a plan to acquire fellow metallurgical coal producer Massey Energy MEE for $8.5 billion. Massey's stockholders will receive $10 in cash plus 1.025 shares of Alpha Natural stock for every Massey share. Based on Massey's Friday closing price of $57.33, the cash and stock deal represents a 21% premium

• Intel INTC shares are currently trading 1.03% lower at $21.23 after the company reported it would discontinue production of a computer chip which was found to have a design flaw

• Cavium Networks CAVM reported Q4 EPS of $0.29, ex-items, well ahead of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.14 per share. Revenues surged 86% year-over-year to $59.8 million, lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of  $61.0 million

• McKesson MCK reported Q3 EPS of $1.12, lower than the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $1.57 per share. Revenues for the quarter were $28.2 billion, missing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $28.492 billion

• Shares of Pre-Paid Legal Services PPD jumped 5.58% after the company was sold to New York private equity firm MidOcean Partners for $650 million

• Chemical and material makers Cytec Industries CYT has agreed to sell its commodities and chemical business to HIG Capital for $180 million
