Report: PS3 hacker 'GeoHot' hired at Facebook

According to TechUnwrapped, renowned hacker George “GeoHot” Hotz, who is best known for his iOS jailbreaks and more recently his lawsuit with Sony after publishing a PlayStation 3 crack online, has been hired at Facebook. His exact role at the social network is unknown at this time, but he is expected to be working on Facebook's iPad app that may be coming very soon

Hotz is best known for his work on unlocking and jailbreaking iOS devices; he released blackra1n back in 2009 and limera1n last year. More recently, Hotz was sued by Sony following his release of a jailbreak-like tool for the PlayStation 3. Sony claims that his hack supported piracy. After a short battle, a settlement was made and Hotz removed the hack from online and has been quiet ever since.
