Intelligent Living Provides Update on Strategic Initiatives

Intelligent Living Corp ILVC, a leading provider of green building automation and technology solutions, operating alongside other green building companies like Trex Company Inc. TREX and Liberty Property Trust LRY, recently provided an update on its strategic initiatives.

Intelligent Living Corp. (“ILVC”) ILVC, a leading provider of green building automation and technology solutions updated today its progress with the previously announced housing initiative. The Company anticipates that it will shortly complete a definitive agreement defining commercial terms for the supply of the design build service component of ILVC's engineered, green, energy efficient, pre-manufactured small footprint homes. ILVC previously announced the signing of a Letter of Intent on October 18, 2010.

As part of a strategic initiative aimed at driving shareholder value, ILVC has targeted local and regional markets for small multi-residential strata homes, housing specific to the needs of First Nations communities, and both domestic and off-shore markets for rapid deployment, small footprint buildings pre-manufactured and shipped flat packed in containers ready for site erection.

“We had originally anticipated completion of the definitive agreement earlier in the year; however, our review of the commercial structure to optimize mutual interests has taken longer than anticipated and Smallworks was tied up tendering relief housing for the Japanese tsunami. This agreement gives us market leading design build capability and enhances entry into our target markets,” said Michael Holloran, CEO, ILVC. “Our local economy and housing market are robust and continue to provide design build opportunities, the demand continues for well engineered, easy to build, cost effective First Nations housing and there is an immediate domestic and international market for a range of wood based, flat pack ‘house-in-a-box' products. In addition, the Canadian government's Asian gateway initiative has created a west coast trade channel into those markets where the need is most critical.”
