Largo Announces Financing

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 14, 2009) -

Largo Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:LGO) ("Largo or the "Company") is pleased to announce a non-brokered private placement financing whereby the Company intends to issue up to 4,000,000 Units at a price of $0.10 per Unit (the "Offering Price") for gross proceeds of up to $400,000. Each Unit is to be comprised of one common share of the Corporation and one-half of one share purchase warrant of the Corporation (each whole share purchase warrant, a "Warrant"). Each Warrant shall entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share of the Corporation at a price of $0.15 at any time prior to the date that is 18 months from the date of issue.

Largo plans to use the net proceeds to continue the development of its key projects and for working capital purposes.

Closing of the financing is expected to occur on or before August 20, 2009 and is subject to receipt of TSX Venture approval.

The common shares will be subject to resale restrictions for a period of four months plus one day from the Closing Date.
