For Those Owning Apple, Amazon, And Nvidia Stocks – Here Is A Diversifier You Need

Due to the artificial intelligence frenzy, the magnificent seven stocks have done extremely well in 2023. The magnificent seven stocks are Apple Inc AAPL, Amazon.com, Inc. AMZN, Alphabet Inc Class C GOOG, Meta Platforms Inc META, Microsoft Corp MSFT, NVIDIA Corp NVDA, and Tesla Inc TSLA.

As these stocks have done well, many portfolios have become heavily concentrated in these stocks. Investors owning these stocks need to diversify. The stocks to diversify need to be outside technology.  

A Good Diversifier

Boeing BA is a good diversifier. 

Boeing represents a long term opportunity. Here are the key points:

• Boeing is a duopoly with Airbus for large commercial aircrafts.
• Air traffic is dramatically increasing in emerging markets such as India, China, Middle East, and Africa. Boeing is a beneficiary.
• Boeing has a very large defense business. The defense business has been troubled, but Boeing seems to be moving past its troubles.
• Since Russia invaded Ukraine, defense spending has been increasing and is likely to continue to increase.
• Boeing has an opportunity to convert its service revenues into reoccurring revenues. The stock market rewards reoccurring revenues with higher PE multiples.

Earnings

Earnings from BA were better than the consensus and the whisper numbers. BA jumped 7% when it recently reported earnings.
