IBM, Accenture, Royal Caribbean Cruises And More On CNBC's 'Final Trades'

On CNBC's “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Brenda Vingiello of Sand Hill Global Advisors picked Accenture plc ACN, saying the outsourcing and consulting theme are going to be a huge theme over the next decade.

On Oct. 2, Accenture inked an expanded partnership with NVIDIA Corporation NVDA, which included the establishment of a new NVIDIA Business Group by Accenture to assist global enterprises in rapidly scaling their AI adoption.

Rob Sechan of NewEdge Wealth named International Business Machines Corporation IBM ahead of earnings.

IBM will release earnings results for its third quarter, after the closing bell on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Analysts expect the Armonk, New York-based company to report quarterly earnings at $2.23 per share, up from $2.01 per share in the year-ago period. IBM projects to report revenue of $15.07 billion for the recent quarter, compared to $13.42 billion a year earlier, according to data from Benzinga Pro.

Joseph M. Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners picked Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. RCL.

On Tuesday, Barclays analyst Brandt Montour maintained Royal Caribbean with an Overweight and raised the price target from $195 to $244.

  • IBM shares gained 0.2% to settle at $232.25.
