Blink Charging Powers Up New Jersey: 53 EV Stations Installed Across 12 Tower Properties

Blink Charging Co. BLNK shares are trading relatively flat on Tuesday, but the company is making significant strides in expanding electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

Blink has announced a collaboration with Tower Management Service L.P., marking the successful installation of 53 state-of-the-art EV charging stations at 12 Tower locations across New Jersey.

This partnership aligns with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s (NJ DEP) “It Pay$ to Plug In” program, which provides grants to encourage the installation of EV charging stations. The initiative aims to support New Jersey’s growing electric vehicle infrastructure and help make EV ownership more accessible.

The Blink Series 8 Level 2 EV Charging Stations are designed to provide efficient, fast charging and an intuitive user experience.

These charging stations are integrated with the Blink Network’s cloud-based software, offering a seamless, easy-to-use system for managing charging sessions. Blink Charging will oversee the full lifecycle of the stations, from installation to ongoing operation and maintenance.

Jon Schiavo, President of Tower Management, highlighted that installing Blink charging stations enhances the sustainability offerings of Tower’s New Jersey apartment communities.

Mike Battaglia, Chief Operating Officer and CEO-Elect at Blink Charging said, “Blink Charging will manage the entire lifecycle of the charging stations, from installation to operation and maintenance. This collaboration not only boosts Tower’s sustainability initiatives but also provides residents with reliable, advanced EV charging solutions for drivers’ evolving mobility needs.”

Price Action: BLNK shares are trading higher by 0.63% to $1.59 at last check Tuesday.
