Reddit Suffers Second Disruption In Two Days

On Thursday, Reddit, Inc RDDT is facing service disruptions again. This outage stems from an HTTP error, as per TechCrunch.

On Wednesday, Reddit experienced an afternoon outage that disrupted its services. The company resolved the issue later in the evening.

The reported issues on Thursday peaked at close to 72,000 at 10:05 am ET, as per Downdetector.

According to Downdetector, around 44% of the reported issues were related to website malfunctions, 52% to the app, and 5% to server connections.

Reddit’s status page mentioned degraded performance for reddit.com and said it is currently investigating a problem with its site at 7:51 am PT (or 10:51 am ET).

The company claimed to have identified the issue and is implementing repairs at 8:15 am PT (or 11:15 am ET). At 8:19 am PT (or 11:19 am ET), the company notified that it had fixed the problem and had returned to regular operation.

Price Action: RDDT stock traded higher by 8.38% to $147.69 at the last check on Thursday.
