Worthington Enterprises Posts Upbeat Results, Joins Jabil, Archer Aviation And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Wednesday

U.S. stocks were higher, with the Dow Jones index gaining around 150 points on Wednesday.

Shares of Worthington Enterprises, Inc. WOR rose sharply during Wednesday's session as the company posted better-than-expected results for its second quarter.

On Tuesday, the company reported a net sales decline of 8% year over year to $274.0 million, beating the consensus of $273.77 million. The decline was attributed to the deconsolidation of the former Sustainable Energy Solutions segment. Adjusted EPS of 60 cents exceeded the consensus of 52 cents.

Worthington Enterprises shares jumped 14.4% to $43.72 on Wednesday.

• SkyWater Technology, Inc. SKYT surged 21.6% to $15.90.
• SoundHound AI, Inc. SOUN rose 19.1% to $23.09.
• POET Technologies Inc. POET shares gained 18.3% to $5.26.
• Exodus Movement, Inc. EXOD jumped 15.5% to $45.00.
• Rezolve AI Limited RZLV gained 15.5% to $3.80 as the company announced a $49 million equity conversion by leading investors.
• FormFactor, Inc. FORM rose 11.5% to $48.90.
• Jabil Inc. JBL gained 10% to $147.38 following better-than-expected quarterly results.
• EnerSys ENS gained 8.7% to $99.52.
• Archer Aviation Inc. ACHR shares rose 7.2% to $9.75. Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Andres Sheppard maintained Archer Aviation with an Overweight and raised the price target from $10 to $13.
• QuantumScape Corporation QS gained 6.7% to $5.66.
