Shares of AAR Corp. AIR rose sharply during Tuesday's session after posted stronger-than-expected second-quarter results.
The company reported quarterly earnings of 90 cents per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of 84 cents. Quarterly revenue came in at $686.1 million, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $654.18 million.
AAR shares jumped 9.6% to $67.67 on Wednesday.

- eBay Inc. EBAY surged 11.5% to $70.44 after Meta announced a test in Germany, France and the US that will allow buyers to browse eBay listings directly on Facebook Marketplace.
- Matthews International Corporation MATW gained 10.2% to $29.87 as the company agreed to sell SGK Brand Solutions.
- Arcadium Lithium plc ALTM rose 8.6% to $5.72 after the company announced it secured CFIUS clearance regarding Rio Tinto’s proposed acquisition.
- Cal-Maine Foods, Inc. CALM gained 7.1% to $111.00 as the company posted better-than-expected results for its second quarter. The company said it set a quarterly record for total dozens sold and specialty dozens sold. It also announced a cash dividend of approximately $1.49 per share.
- ADTRAN Holdings, Inc. ADTN rose 6.3% to $10.25.
- Boston Scientific Corporation BSX gained 4.6% to $96.24 after the company announced it entered into a definitive deal to acquire Bold Medical.
- UniFirst Corporation UNF gained 3.7% to $212.25 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
