SaverOne 2014 Ltd. SVRE, a transportation safety technology company, has been awarded its 13th patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Issued on February 18, 2025, under patent number 12,231,899, the patent covers SaverOne’s system designed to restrict mobile phone use while driving.

This patented technology enhances SaverOne’s in-vehicle safety system by allowing drivers to access only approved applications, such as navigation or calls, while blocking all others. It achieves this through wireless communication between the vehicle’s Phone Location Unit and the driver’s mobile device.

Under U.S. law, the patent term is 20 years from the application’s effective filing date. With this new patent, SaverOne’s portfolio includes 23 patents, 13 of which have been granted in various jurisdictions and 10 more pending.

SaverOne CEO Ori Gilboa emphasized that the latest U.S. patent grant further strengthens the company’s intellectual property portfolio, highlighting the uniqueness and innovation of its technology. He noted that as mobile phone-related distractions continue to pose a major risk to road safety, SaverOne remains dedicated to developing and protecting advanced solutions to help prevent accidents.

Recently, SaverOne’s U.S. distributor, Motor Supply, successfully completed a pilot with FedEx contractor MDM Express, which led to a full fleet installation. This milestone strengthened SaverOne’s U.S. expansion and fleet safety impact.

Price Action: SVRE shares are trading higher by 4.62% at $4.31 premarket at the last check Monday.
