Shares of Scholastic Corporation SCHL rose sharply during Friday's session following upbeat quarterly earnings.
Scholastic reported quarterly losses of 5 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of a loss of 78 cents per share. The company reported quarterly sales of $335.400 million which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $347.680 million.
Scholastic shares jumped 12.2% to $21.09 on Friday.

- Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. NAK shares rose 14% to $0.8021.
- Torrid Holdings Inc. CURV jumped 9% to $6.03 following better-than-expected quarterly results.
- agilon health, inc. AGL rose 8.2% to $4.4351. Needham analyst Ryan MacDonald reiterated Agilon Health with a Hold rating.
- Cytokinetics, Incorporated CYTK gained 5.5% to $45.47.
- Adaptive Biotechnologies Corporation ADPT gained 7.5% to $8.33. Goldman Sachs analyst Salveen Richter upgraded Adaptive Biotechnologies from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $8 to $9.
- Precigen, Inc. PGEN shares rose 7% to $1.9250.
