Enphase Energy, Inc. ENPH shares are trading higher premarket on Wednesday. The company launched its most powerful and versatile battery to date, the IQ Battery 5P with FlexPhase, for customers in Poland.
This all-in-one AC-coupled system offers reliable backup power and supports both single-phase and three-phase setups, providing flexible energy solutions for various home needs.
The FlexPhase battery was recently introduced in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Luxembourg.
The IQ Battery 5P starts with 5 kWh of capacity and can be scaled up to 70 kWh using multiple units.
Each 5 kWh battery delivers up to 3.68 kW of continuous power in single-phase setups and 1.28 kW per phase in three-phase setups.
Designed for flexibility, it supports both grid-tied and backup power configurations.
When paired with the IQ System Controller 3 INT, it can deliver up to twice its continuous power for three seconds to start high-power devices without grid support.
In Poland, the battery comes with a 15-year industry-leading warranty.
Szymon Konieczka, CEO of BTI Solar, an installer of Enphase products in Poland, stated, “What sets this technology apart is its adaptability – the battery’s scalable architecture accommodates both single-phase and three-phase systems, letting us customize backup solutions for each home. Enphase continues to be an industry leader with innovations like this.”
Sabbas Daniel, senior vice president of sales at Enphase Energy, said, “With its compatibility for both single-phase and three-phase systems, the IQ Battery 5P is ideally suited for retrofitting the country’s large base of existing solar homes.”
On Tuesday, the company disclosed the launch of its most powerful and flexible battery to date, the IQ Battery 5P with FlexPhase, in Luxembourg.
