Norfolk Southern Increases Dividend by 11% to $.40

Norfolk Southern Corporation NSC announced that its Board of Directors today voted to increase the regular quarterly dividend on the company's common stock by 11 percent, or 4 cents per share, from 36 to 40 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable on March 10 to stockholders of record on Feb. 4. Since its inception in 1982, Norfolk Southern has paid dividends on its common stock for 114 consecutive quarters.
