Guharoy, Miller, Taylor, Zúñiga elected to advance health equity for all people
ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 8, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, CHC: Creating Healthier Communities announced four new board members were unanimously elected to its national board of directors:
- Pavni Aeshini Guharoy, owner of MetaMorph, LLC
- Howard Miller, partner at Lapine Group
- Art Taylor, president & CEO of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance
- Juan Zúñiga, managing partner at Rimon Law

Pavni Aeshini Guharoy, MPH, is a digital marketing expert with over 22 years of experience at the intersection of public health, client service, and community engagement, focusing on health disparities and their impact on people of color. In 2022, Guharoy established her own consulting firm to engage a wider variety of organizations and deepen her efforts to serve communities of color. She is also a community photographer who strives to reframe mainstream stereotypes. Guharoy is an adult immigrant from India and cherishes her languages, food, and cultural heritage.
Howard Miller is a partner at Lapine Group and has 30 years of experience in the planning and execution of strategic and technology-based solutions focused on increased stakeholder satisfaction and organizational growth. Previously, he worked for American Express, Andersen Consulting and Unisys Corporation. Miller's clients range from philanthropic foundations and cultural arts to financial services and healthcare. Miller earned a degree in Engineering from Cornell University.
Herman "Art" Taylor is president and chief executive officer of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance - give.org. Previously, Taylor headed the Opportunities Industrialization Centers of America, Inc. (OICA) and before that, worked for Keystone Foods Corporation, UGI Corporation and Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he was a Certified Public Accountant. He earned a Bachelor's in business administration from Franklin and Marshall College plus received an honorary Doctor of Laws. He acquired a J.D. from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar. Taylor is a trustee of Franklin & Marshall College and serves on the boards of Convergence, American Non Profits, The International Committee on Fundraising Organizations, The Fundraising Standard and National Assembly Business Services. Taylor also serves as lecturer at Columbia University's M.S. Nonprofit Management Program and in the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy's Doctorate of Philanthropic Leadership program.
Juan E. Zúñiga is an international transactions attorney who has worked on cross-border transactions throughout the United States, Latin America and in over 60 other countries. He is also the Managing Partner of Rimon Law. Prior to Rimon, Zúñiga was the founding partner of Cross Border Law Group, P.C. He received his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College. Zúñiga has also devoted a considerable portion of his career to pro bono legal services for various 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and to diversity initiatives in the legal industry. He has received numerous awards for his pro bono efforts and is consistently ranked by Super Lawyers in the field of cross-border real estate law.
