Citigroup Expects Humana To Guide Around $6 In Earnings

Citigroup said that it expects Humana, Inc. HUM to guide to around $6 in earnings for 2011. “That's down quite a bit from our upwardly revised 2010 EPS projection of $7.15, as Humana has benefited from over $0.70 of favorable development, while we think 2011 guidance will assume Medicare margins return to the long-term target of 5%,” Citigroup writes. “Guidance will be provided at Humana's investor day on November 18.” Humana currently trades at $58.68.
