Wilmington Trust Moves From S&P Mid Cap 400 To S&P Small Cap 600, KBW Reports

After the close on 12/9, S&P announced that Wilmington Trust Corporation WL will be removed from the S&P Mid Cap 400 Index and added to the S&P Small Cap 600 Index after the close on Friday, 12/17, KBW reports. “We estimate the amount of shares of WL that we believe will need to be purchased by S&P 600 index funds and sold by the S&P 400 index funds as a result of this move,” KBW writes. Wilmington Trust closed Thursday at $4.18.
