Following Humana's HUM acquisition of Concentra, management raised 2011 financial guidance by $0.10 to $5.45 to $5.65, Jefferies reports.
“This is in line with the estimate we provided at the time of the deal announcement (note published Nov 23, 2010),” Jefferies writes.
“However, we believe this estimate could be conservative if the clinics are efficiently run and become a more highly utilized provider ‘tier' in Humana's networks.”
Jefferies said that it has not made any adjustments to its earnings estimates on Humana, which closed Tuesday at $54.80.
