Goldman Sachs is raising its estimates on shares of Dow Chemical DOW.
“We are raising our FY2011/12/13 EPS estimates to $3.01/$3.67/$4.64 from $2.86/$3.49/$4.50 based on the strong first quarter results,” Goldman Sachs writes. “We reiterate our Buy rating and are raising our 12- month price target by $6 to $50 based on our SOTP analysis. Our $50 price target equals 7.5X our 2012 EBITDA estimate of $10.8 bn. Downside risks include higher feedstock costs, operational problems, and weaker macroeconomic conditions.”
Dow Chemical closed Friday at $40.99.
