General Electric Co. Decouples: Receives Overweight Rating (GE, JPM)

General Electric Co. GE has decoupled from the group and is now very attractively priced. J.P. Morgan has stated that the financial regulation bill has removed a non-fundamental overhang for General Electric (GE). It also said that GE’s current valuation is compelling but decoupling is not sustainable. General Electric Co. still faces the same challenges the group does. However it has a nice cash pile of over $10 billion and therefore it does not face any liquidity risk. The firm has been given an overweight rating with a price target of $23.00.
