Dahlman Rose Raising Estimates On United Airlines (UAUA)

Dahlman Rose & Co. is raising its earnings estimates for Q3 and Q4 on UAL Corporation UAUA, after the company filed an 8-K last night, as it raised its own estimates. In the research note, Dahlman Rose writes, "United continues to see double digit growth in unit revenues. For 3Q10, mainline unit revenue growth is estimated to be in a range of 18.5% - 19.5%, and regional unit revenue growth is estimated to be between 10.8% and 11.9%, implying consolidated unit revenue growth of 18% - 19%. Cargo and other revenue is expected to be about $405 million. As a result, for 3Q10 we estimate revenue to be $5.4 billion, a significant improvement from 3Q09 revenue of $4.4 billion, but still below the 2008 level of $5.6 billion." Shares of UAUA are down 13 cents this morning to $21.58, a loss of 0.6%.
