Goldman Sachs has a Neutral rating on Amphenol Corp. APH.
In a note sent to clients Goldman writes, "Management sees solid growth opportunities related to mobile Internet. Amphenol is well-positioned to benefit not only from the proliferation of mobile devices (16% of sales, led by smartphones), but also the build-out of wireless infrastructure (14% of sales) necessary to support mobile
Internet. In addition, the emerging tablet market is completely incremental to its addressable market, as the company has no legacy PC exposure."
Shares of APH gained 12 cents yesterday to close at $53.05.
