Piper Jaffray Updates On ILMN

Piper Jaffray has issued a report updating on Illumina Inc ILMN following meetings in Hong Kong. According to the report, "On the last day of our 5th Annual China Fieldtrip, we visited BGI Hong Kong, who is in the process of adding additional HiSeq's to their 82 current instruments. Importantly, it appears Illumina has also fixed their relatively recent flow cell issue by changing vendors. Looking ahead, we suspect Illumina have the inside track should BGI expand beyond their existing order." ILMN has an Overweight Rating and closed Friday at $70.76 a share.
