Gabelli Reiterates MON Buy Rating

Gabelli has issued a report reiterating the Buy Rating on Monsanto Co MON. Gabelli writes, "Second quarter results were driven by improvements in the Agricultural Productivity segment as Seeds & Genomics segment EBIT was relatively flat… We maintain our 2011E EPS of $2.80 and our 2012P EPS of $3.40. We believe that Monsanto will see volume growth in the third quarter OF FY2011 as most major crops begin to be planted." MON closed yesterday at $69.16 a share.
