According to Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, Banner Corp. BANR posted an operating EPS loss of -$0.09 which excludes nominal fair value adjustments.
Keefe, Bruyette & Woods said that BANR beat on a lower provision and better expense control. “Credit trends improved with NPAs down 51 bps to 6.61%. The margin held up better than expected as deposit costs were driven lower.”
Banner Corp. closed yesterday at $2.75.
