According to Citi, Huntsman Corp HUN saw a solid quarter.
Citi said that HUN's adjusted EPS of 47¢ exceeded the estimate of 28¢, even after excluding the 4¢ tailwind from a lower tax rate. “Adjusted EBITDA surpassed $300mm and was $45mm above our estimate. Pigments, Polyurethanes, and Performance Products accounted for most of the incremental earnings.”
Huntsman closed yesterday at $19.97.
