According to Jefferies, Dollar Tree DLTR had its Global Consumer Conference.
Jefferies said that Dollar tree continued to indicate that favorable sourcing and flexibility in merchandising are allowing it to improve IMU, even as inflation remains elevated in China where it sources a large part of its goods. “The company believes it has a 7,000 store opportunity for Dollar Tree in the U.S., not including the Deal$ stores. It continues to believe that its store opportunity in Canada is 1,000 stores. The company will test the Dollar Tree branded stores in Canada this year.”
Dollar Tree closed yesterday at $65.29.
