Goldman Sachs is out with its report today on The Mosaic Co. MOS, maintaining Neutral.
In a note to clients, Goldman Sachs writes, "MOS reported 4Q11 EPS of $1.52 vs. GS/consensus of $1.44/$1.38, driven by stronger potash (K) volumes and margins and in-line Phosphate (P) results. MOS also issued preliminary 1Q12 guidance in K of 1.7-1.9mmt
and $430-$455/mt MOP and 3.0-3.3mmt in P with $560-$590/mt DAP. We are Neutral but see an attractive risk/reward for shares given healthy K momentum."
At the time of posting, shares of MOS were trading pre-market at $69.88, up 2.03% from Tuesday's close.
