Global Hunter Securities downgraded its Zhongpin HOGS rating from Neutral to Reduce in a research report published today.
In the report, Global Hunter states, "Management of HOGS has hosted several conference calls, filed public responses and hosted investor trips in an attempt to address a number of allegations that have been made over the past two months. In our opinion, despite the volume of actions taken, the qualitative value of the response has not been adequate to address and dismiss lingering questions."
Shares of Zhongpin were trading at $8.19 at the time of posting, up 0.37% from Thursday's market close.
