Barrington Research provided color on H&R Block (HRB) prior to H&R Block's earnings call on Thursday, September 1, after the market close. Barrington Research has previously given H&R Block a Market Perform rating.
In the report, Barrington Research states, "Management has indicated a more balanced approach – balance sheet, investments in the business, dividends and repurchases – to capital allocation going forward. While we view the downside risk as fairly limited due to its current discount valuation, patience will be required as the stock lacks an apparent near-term catalyst (we are in the off-season for tax); hence, our MARKET PERFORM investment rating."
Shares of H&R Block were trading at $15.23 at the time of posting, up 1.06% from Tuesday's market close.
