South Korea's, Samsung filed patent lawsuits against Apple (AAPL) over smartphone technology- The Asian giant,South Korea's, Samsung is at war with the US Apple Inc. (AAPL) about iPhone and iPad patents. Samsung is accusing Apple of violating its rights to 10 smartphone and computer patents.

Japan facing Greece-style debt crisis, $50bn emergency budget- The Japanese government announced a new $50 billion emergency budget Thursday that will be used for disaster relief, Japan's bonds rose, pushing 10-year yields to a four-week low.

Toyota (TM) plans to return to full operations by the end of the year. Problems with the Amazon service center hurt access to a large number of sites. GM's (GM) CEO made $2.5 million last year. Nokia (NOK) face a harsh future despite its joint venture with Microsoft.
